NOTE FROM ALICIA KEYS, Founder, IAAS

Welcome to a powerful passionate, radiant, exciting, addictive, compassionate and loving virtual world called IAAS,

which stands for I AM A SUPER WOMAN! For many of us, that is not just the title of a song, but a mantra. My friends and I at AK Worldwide are launching a new venture and would like you to join us. We're creating a fresh new source for positive and inspiring news, a destination which will empower and link female voices and unleash the super woman in us all. We will be launching the site in the fall but we took our first big step today. After a three month search with our partners at Monster.com, that attracted more than 8,500 applicants, I am proud to say we found our amazing new head blogger: Alexis Tirado. She is a super woman. You will get to know her very well in
the coming months. I found her writing inspiring, and I loved the fact she helped launch and manage a social networking site for female entrepreneurs. She is also very generous of heart and always willing to help others in need. Together we have grand plans to grow IAAS.com into a full scale, editorial site and virtual neighborhood featuring notable contributors that prompt unique discussions among a new breed of super woman: YOU! Sign up above and be a part of the beta phase of our site to help us grow this page into a full-fledged movement of inspiration.

With Love always,
Alicia

IF WE CAN MAKE IT HERE, WE CAN MAKE IT ANYWHERE!

People have told me that dreams don't exist, but I can defy that statement because I am a Super Woman. And so are you.

It has been a whirlwind journey to get here. Especially the 48 hour trip to London! While I was interviewing with Alicia Keys, I was also reporting on her concert at the O2 Arena and the Black Ball gala, an event that helped raise money for Keep A Child Alive. On top of the interviewing and reporting, I also mustered up energy to volunteer at a soup kitchen! I'm not gonna lie: I left London on 4 hours of sleep. How? I am a Super Woman and so are you. Every day there are stories from women who are taking on the world and changing it for the better. If you are one of these Super Women, we are going to want to hear from you. This site will be empowering to us, Super Women everywhere, to make an impact in life. To learn about a new cause and contribute to
it. To love more and hate less. To find inspiration and get inspired. This fall, IAAS will bring a positive and illuminating perspective on news and entertainment — a place to help Super Women soar to greater heights. Together we’ll become the voice for an unstoppable community that will change the world. Please join the movement and sign up for our beta site above. Email me at alexis@iamasuperwoman.com and share your opinion on what you want from IAAS. We are in this together! And while you're at it, please follow us on Twitter and become a fan on Facebook.

With heart,
Alexis Tirado
